Hedge Fund Telemetry Trade Ideas


Tried to buy some Chinese leaders last week BABA, Tencent, and FXI but Tencent earnings were weak and the Chinese Yuan is not stopping the decline.  Taking loses is part of the job and since these were each at 2.5% sized weights, we live to play another day.  Shorts are starting to work and I expect this could continue and perhaps accelerate.  I'm off the desk but logged into Bloomberg to make these changes. Time to move my daughter into her dorm.  I will return emails later.  Thanks y'all (I'm in Dallas!  Can you tell?)

When I get bearish, it's pretty bearish like now.  If you can't short, have a decent amount of cash and be patient.  I am looking forward to finding decent buys but again we must be patient.
